Kerry Marsico

Kerry originally began his career as Head of National Radio Promotion for several major music labels (MCA, TVT, IRS and Moonshine) over a twelve-year period, a profession that honed his marketing, advertising, negotiating, and dealmaking skills.

As the music industry began to implode due to the advent of file-sharing technology, Kerry bought several investment properties and soon discovered his passion for real estate. With his music career in the rearview mirror and income properties losing value during the 2008 crash, he had to find a new trade FAST to keep everything afloat, and thus was inspired to become a full time agent in Los Angeles.

Soon after establishing a client base selling homes in Pacific Palisades, Silver Lake, Sherman Oaks and Long Beach, and at a time when most agents were skeptical of the downtown area, Kerry instantly recognized the tremendous potential of the burgeoning community. Within months, Kerry launched TheDowntownMLS and quickly established himself as a top specialist in the market. Since then, he has won numerous awards, has been amongst the top 1% producers Globally with Coldwell Banker for the past 3 years, and is a member of Coldwell Banker’s exclusive International President’s Elite.

In 2014, Kerry closed nearly 40 transactions, and ranked #1 at both Coldwell Banker’s Los Feliz and Downtown Los Angeles offices of over 60 agents collectively.

To date, Kerry has closed over 200 transactions in the greater Los Angeles area.

Kerry's break into the Downtown market started with the the success of his TheDowntownMLS.com website and it's proprietary search functionality.  It had received 2.6 million hits annually by 2014, and was expanding exponentially, making it one of the top destinations for the homebuyer seeking lofts and condos in the greater Los Angeles area.

In 2015 Kerry retooled the trajectory of his business as his sphere and influence had crept into Beverly Hills, Silver Lake, Atwater Village, Highland Park, Eagle Rock and several other communities.

A true pioneer, much of Kerry’s success can be attributed to his extensive knowledge of Los Angeles’ rich history and architecture as well as his relationships with developers, city planners and architects.
